.Paul Nicholas Remembers Two Up, Two Down

Paul Nicholas was recently interviewed by the 'Crackerjack' website. During this he reminisces about the series Two Up, Two Down, in which he starred with Su in the late 1970s.

In the mid 70s, he embarked on a short-lived but high-profile pop career before returning to the West End stage in 1981 to create the role of the capricious cat Rum Tum Tugger in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Cats.

Soon after, Paul made his television debut in Two Up, Two Down, a short-lived sitcom co-starring Su Pollard.

“We played a couple of hippies who squatted on the upstairs of an upwardly mobile young couple’s semi-detached. It was fun to do, was very well written and served me well for when I came back later to do Just Good Friends.”

.Digital Spy - Su Pollard Proposes Lady GaGa Duet
.Wednesday 10th March, 2010................................................................................Internet
Digital Spy have also reported on the recent Su/Lady GaGa press coverage;

Actress and comedian Su Pollard has jokingly suggested that she should do a duet with Lady GaGa.

The '80s TV star, who appeared in shows such as Hi-de-Hi! and Oh, Doctor Beeching!, claimed that she shared many similarities with the American artist.

"Lady GaGa knows how to take the mickey out of herself and so do I. In some ways we're peas in a pod," Pollard told The Sun.

"I've always loved to wear clothes like GaGa is wearing now. I was way before my time when I was young. I adore Lady GaGa's look. Like me she doesn't just wear the same boring frocks all those other stars wear on the red carpet. I think New York needs a Su Pollard. I welcome it, I say bring it on!"
