After an apprenticeship at the Arts Theatre, Nottingham, her home town, Su has been learning her craft by training vigorously in many fields. Su made her television debut on Opportunity Knocks and has since been seen in many programmes: Summer Royal, The Comedians, an all-woman production called Golden Gals, Get Set For Summer, Clock On, a comedy series for younger viewers, Give US A Clue, Whose Baby, Crackerjack. Su was featured in the comedy series Two Up Two Down and thoroughly enjoys playing Peggy, the scatty chalet maid in the popular series Hi-De-Hi!  1983 has already seen Su in the Grace Kennedy Show, Kenny Everett Television Show, The Saturday Show and the Russell Harty Show. Su has appeared in Cabaret all over the country and in a series of Sunday Concerts in Scarborough. She has also appeared in an all-girl singing group, Midnight News. Her theatre credits include the musicals The Desert Song, Rose Marie, Godspell, in the West End and on tour, Big Sin City, Oh, Mr Porter and Grease. Her plays include One Of The Family, Philately Will Get You Nowhere and Not Now, Darling.   Su is also quite at home in pantomime, having appeared in Pinocchio, Goldilocks, Babes In The Wood, Mother Goose and this year it was back to Nottingham, where she played the title role in Jack And The Beanstalk (Jack, not the beanstalk!) Su also appeared before Princess Alexandra, Princess Margaret and, more recently, Princess Anne. Su is very happy to be in Bournemouth for the seventh time and is looking forward to a further series of Hi-De-Hi! in the autumn. Su loves talking, dancing and Mills and Boon books.
