Princess of Punk Toyah Willcox caused a sensation when she made her debut last night in the hit show Cabaret. 

Outside the Strand Theatre in London's West End dozens of her outlandish fans ripped down posters for souvenirs. 

Inside rock star Toyah fell out of her loose fitting black evening dress - revealing all during the dress rehearsal.

Nerves 

Toyah, 28, star of punk film Jubilee, and of London's Mermaid Theatre hit Trafford Tanzi was clearly suffering from first-night nerves as she went through her first full rehearsal just hours before her debut performance as Sally Bowles opposite Wayne Sleep's role as nightclub MC. 

Toyah admitted later: "I sat back and thought "Can I reallyhandle this". 

In the theatre queue pink haired laundry assistant Michelle Adamson, 19, from Plumstead, South East London said: "It's a rip-off at £16.50."
