Asher’s Angel: 2014 Edition

January 13th, 2014

ashersingles14aA revised edition of Asher’s Angel, the book by Asher Meekins which takes inspiration from Toyah, is now available.

“Asher’s Angel” is something of an ironic name for the new book by Asher Meekins. He writes about the mysterious “Angel” of the title while in reality some of Asher’s friends see him as something of an angel. If, that is, an angel is someone who is always selflessly there for a friend with support and kind words. Who is Asher’s Angel? One of those aforementioned friends? Someone famous? Or, indeed, Asher himself? All is revealed in this updated version of Asher’s wonderful novel. A true story about life experience and how others can often help and guide us through dark times without even knowing it!

Asher Meekins, born in 1967 just outside London, now lives in Kent. He spent the 80’s enjoying the music of the era from Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Stranglers to Kate Bush. His main hero was and still is Toyah Willcox.

• ‘Asher’s Angel’ is available from Amazon (including Kindle edition) and Waterstones. View all of Dreamscape’s ‘Asher’s Angel’ news here.

Asher’s Angel by Asher Meekins

April 11th, 2013

Long time Toyah fan Asher Meekins has written his first book, Asher’s Angel.

Who is Asher’s Angel? Well you decide…

A harrowing and candid account of the debilitating depression that the sudden end of a relationship can bring. Told with a disarming honesty. Asher’s Angel leaves the reader in no doubt as to the strength of the feelings experienced and the depths of despair through which the author travelled on his journey to the other side of this traumatic time.”

Chris Limb, 2013 (Author of ‘I Was A Teenage Toyah Fan’)

The book will be available from and in paperback. A kindle edition is already on sale.
