In 1982 Su visited her home town of Nottingham and made a special show for the BBC. She met up with lots of old friends, as well as her sister Jean, and revisited many of her old haunts.

"I'm taking orders for curtains" hollered Su, in reference to the dress she wore for her first appearance on Russell Harty's chat show. Su reminisced about being a typist, Opportunity Knocks and generally caused chaos. She also performed 'The Way We Were'.

Su emerged as Peggy before being "stripped" by a dancer and launching into various songs, including a Shirley Temple number!
