| It's
Cabaret!- CD repackaged again! |
| Saturday 27th
October, 2007 Thanks to
Michael............................Music |
'Cabaret'
has been repackaged yet again.
This, by my reckoning, is the
fifth version available on CD
since 1997, and the second in
2007! 'Toyah
Willcox & Nigel Planer: It's
Cabaret!' was issued on 8th
October through HHO Licensing,
the same label responsible for
April's 'Cabaret: Songs From The
Broadway Musical'.
The
tracklisting appears to be
exactly the same as previous
versions.

| Toyah,
along with Adam Ant, really used
promo videos to their full
potential in the early 80's.
Although not all the singles had
videos to accompany them, the
ones that did were always
interesting and memorable.
Toyah's
new single has a video(s)
specifiically made for her
MySpace and YouTube Channel,
including the above
"retro" clip. 'Latex
Messiah (Viva La Rebel In You)'
is available for download in two
days time.

presenter Lorraine Kelly has been
appointed to support cycle
charity Sustrans' Connect2
project. This is a
UK-wide project that aims to
improve local travel in 79
communities by creating new
walking and cycling routes for
those everyday journeys.
TV
wildlife and survival expert Ray
Mears will represent the Eden
Project's scheme The Edge. This
will create a new bio-dome
featuring the arid and semi-arid
areas of the world.
The plans
also include an underground
museum at the Cornwall
attraction.
Toyah
Willcox goes back to her Black
Country roots to support the
Black Country as an Urban Park
bid.
This aims
to open up the green spaces to
ensure more than 800,000 people
will live within walking distance

| The
Humans - The Live shows are
coming |
| Saturday 20th
October, 2007...................................................News Clips |
| Numerous
overseas websites are reporting
on The Humans' forthcoming gigs,
taking place in Estonia next
Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
THE HUMANS
live show is song based but the
songs are deconstructed down to
the bones of raw experience
exposing human nature and irony.
Comparisons are always misleading
but if The White Stripes met with
the vocal adventures of Lou Reed,
Kate Bush, Gabriel and Beefheart
then you might get a flavour of
things to come...
Toyah
Willcox began her public life as
a stage and television actress,
but it is her musical activities
that brought about her first real
fame. In 1978 she founded the
band Toyah. Her singing career
took off with hits such as
"I Want To Be Free" and
"It's A Mystery". In
1983, she was voted Best Female
Singer at the British Rock and
Pop Awards and in 1986 she
married avant-garde musician,
Robert Fripp.
William
"Bill" Rieflin is a
contemporary musician and is
currently drumming for R.E.M.. In
the past he has worked with
Ministry, the Revolting Cocks,
KMFDM, Pigface, Swans, Chris
Cornell, Nine Inch Nails and many
others. He is one of the founders
of the independent music label
First World Music.
Chris Wong
is a professional guitarist, bass
guitarist, arranger,
orchestrator, composer, and
musical director. He has worked
with artists such as Phil Watts,
Mark Rattray, Rox Clayton Scott,
and many others. Currently he is
Toyah Willcox's musical director
and guitarist.
The most
unusual concerts of
Jazzkaars Autumn Jazz bring
together rock musicians from the
USA, UK and Germany Toyah
Willcox, Bill Rieflin and Chris
Wong as The Humans and Pat
Mastelotto and Markus Reuter as
Tuner.
