Toyah on the Radio: The Older Woman

The six-part radio drama, The Older Woman, in which Toyah plays Elsa airs again from next week for the first time in many years on BBC Radio. Originally broadcast by ‘BBC Radio 4’ in January and February 1993 it also stars Zoë Wanamaker and Martin Clunes as Jane and Roy. It’s being repeated by BBC Radio 4 Extra. Toyah has guested on Keith’s show a few times previously. I’m not sure whether this is a new appearance or a previous guest recording being re-aired.

Steve Allen confirmed on his show this morning that Toyah will guest on In Conversation with Steve Allen this Sunday on LBC. The programme can be listened to live, online at the station’s website.

Toyah will talk about her career, marriage, Hormonal Housewives and having a “bionic hip”.
