Jubilee (1978)
Toyah, in her first ever film role, plays Mad, the punkette pyromaniac who is also handy with a knife! Directed by Derek Jarman, Jubilee wasn't taken very seriously at the time of it's release but almost 25 years later is regarded as a classic.

  
The Corn Is Green (1979)
Toyah, at the time aged 20, plays 14 year old Bessie Wattie. She starred with the legendary Hollywood actress Katherine Hepburn, and celebrated British star Patricia Hayes, as a girl who shocks a small English village by falling pregnant.

  
Quadrophenia (1979)
Toyah is Monkey in this cult classic that is as popular today as 22 years ago. As well as Toyah, it launched the careers of Sting, Phil Daniels, Lesley Ash and many more British actors.

  
The Tempest (1979)
Toyah is Miranda, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Evening Standard Film Awards for this role. Again directed by Derek Jarman, The Tempest was Toyah's first foray into Shakespeare. At the time she wasn't into the bard atall, though these days is an accomplished Shakesperian actress.

  
Murder, The Ultimate Grounds For Divorce (1985)
Toyah plays Val alongside Roger Daltrey and Leslie Ash, in this modern, working class update of Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf.

  
The Disputation (1986)
Toyah plays Consuelo alongside Christopher Lee in this film set in 13th century Spain.

  
Midnight Breaks (1988)
Toyah plays Billy Jones, a tough rock band manager, alongside Robbie Coltrane and Don Letts. Toyah quote: "I hate the character, especially her ghastly hair & clothes".

  
Julie And The Cadillacs (1999)
Toyah plays Barbara Gifford in this musical set in the sixties and also featuring Thora Hird. This was filmed in 1996 (Toyah's This Is Your Life happened during filming) but its release was delayed.

  
The Most Fertile Man In Ireland (2000)
A comedy set in Ireland. Toyah plays a fertility doctor who cannot have children. She discovers a man so fertile that even sterile women can become pregnant via him!!
